Alloy AA 5083

Aluminium AA 5083 is known for its exceptional performance in extreme environments. Highly resistant to both seawater and industrial chemical environments, Alloy AA 5083 also retains exceptional strength after welding. Out of the non-heat-treatable grades, 5083 is one of the higher strength alloys. It is not recommended for use in temperatures in excess of 65°C.
