Alloy AA 1100 has a minimum 99% purity and is commercially considered pure aluminium. Soft and ductile with excellent workability, it's ideal for application with difficult forming. It can be welded using any method, but it is not heat-treatable. With its excellent resistance to corrosion, it is commonly used in the chemical and food processing industries.
